Fish Antibiotic Penicillin V is a popular pharmaceutical-grade antibiotic for fish that does not require a prescription. It effectively treats a variety of diseases associated with both marine and freshwater ornamental fish, including infected eyes, pop-eye, fin or tail rot, skin ulcerations, columnaris disease, and gill disease. It is also known as Rsh Pen.
Add two tablets for every 20 gallons of aquarium water and repeat in 24 hours. Do a partial water change between treatments. Treatment duration depends on infection type and severity, but extended baths should last 5-10 days. Stop if there’s no improvement within 5 days. To remove yellow color, change 20% of water and use a charcoal filter.
Caution: It is important to keep Fish Antibiotics out of the reach of children. These antibiotics are solely intended for use in aquariums and should not be used for any other purpose. They are designed to be used only with ornamental fish and organisms, and should not be used with fish that are intended for human consumption.
